The Torrington Community Kitchen

We are committed to providing a nutritious meal to any individual who, for whatever reason, is unable to provide a proper meal for himself or herself.

Founded in 1983, the Soup Kitchen, as it is commonly known, has served hundreds of thousands of meals since its inception. The organization receives no federal, state or municipal support, relying on donations, fundraisers and volunteers.

Though the Soup Kitchen’s primary mission remains that stated above, it has become a touchstone and starting place for thousands as they seek programs and assistance to change their lives for the better.

Trinity has been proud to partner with the Community Kitchen since its beginning.
