The Torrington Satellite Office delivers high quality HIV/ AIDS services to residents of Litchfield County through two programs: HIV Prevention, and Health Care and Support Services (HCSS).

The goal of the HIV Prevention Program is to reduce the number of new HIV infections in the community by providing targeted outreach services, HIV prevention education, free HIV counseling and testing.

Through the HCSS Program, a dedicated medical case manager assists eligible people living with HIV/ AIDS in reaching optimal health outcomes by ensuring access to and retention of care, including: primary care, specialty care, psychosocial support, substance abuse counseling and numerous other important services.
